OPERATIONS & SAFETY MANAGER
SPOT is hiring an Operations & Safety Manager to help keep our transit system running smoothly. This full-time salaried position pays $50,000–$53,500/year and includes health, dental, vision, paid leave, and PERSI retirement benefits.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate driver schedules, routes, and dispatch
- Supervise and train staff
- Manage vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Maintain records, safety documentation, and reporting
- Assist passengers, drivers, and the Executive Director
- Work a flexible schedule including some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory or management experience (transportation preferred)
- Knowledge of public transit operations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to obtain an Idaho CDL with passenger endorsement and DOT medical
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
BUS DRIVERS
Bus drivers wanted! Do you enjoy driving and helping people get around our beautiful area? If so, SPOT wants you! Starting wage is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain (prior to hiring) a class A, B, or C Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
- A clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
